Microsoft
Office 365 has introduced two products- Office 365 for Home and Office 365 for
Business. Both of them are available for use on desktop, mobile, and tablets.
It includes the full versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote,
Access, and Publisher.
With
the Home version, you can connect at least up to 6 people. It is available for
multiple uses on Pc, Mac, tablets, and phones. Moreover, it offers 1 GB
OneDrive storage with advanced security, and connects with others on documents
online, along with an annual or monthly subscription.
With
the Business version, you get access to all Office applications and online
productivity services, along with business services like hosted email, web
conferencing, online storage, etc.
If
you already have the product key for Home version, you can sign in with your
existing or new account. Just enter the product key at www.office.com/setup. When you redeem your
key, you link your account with the application.
Follow
these steps to install Office 365 on Mac-
- Sign in to
your account. If you don’t have an account, create one.
- Select
Install Office on your Mac.
- Click
Install Office and then Install (if you sign in with Microsoft account).
- Press the
Install the Office Apps button and select Office 2016 (if you sign in using
work or school account).
- The installation will begin.
- Once the download is finished, open Finder.
- Here go to
Downloads and double click on the .pkg file
- Click
Continue and proceed.
- Read the
software license agreement carefully and click on Continue.
- Press Agree
button agree to the license.
- Choose how
to install Office and Continue.
- Ensure that
there is enough disk space to store the software and click on Continue.
- Fill in the
private details like your password.
- Select
Install Software on the dialog box.
- Proceed with the installation and Close it when finished.
