- Go to the site www.office.com/setup and sign in to your account.
- Enter the right credentials for the account associated with the version. The accounts can be linked to both subscription and non-subscription versions.
- There are two options-Visio Professional (or Standard) and Visio Online Plan 2 (Subscription).
Downloading the non-subscribed application (Microsoft Visio Professional)
- Go to Office home page and click Install Office.
- Select the product from the list of Office 365 products.
- If you have already subscribed for that product, click Services and Subscription.
- Press the Install button.
Downloading Office Visio Online Plan 2 (it is a subscription version)-
- Visit Office homepage and click Install Office apps.
- Tap on Other Install Options.
- Choose Visio from the list.
- Select your preferred language from the list and the bit version you want.
- Click the Install button.
After downloading the application, start with the installation process.
- Double-click on the downloaded file.
- Click Run/Setup/Save File as per the browser you are using.
- On the User, Account Control dialog box appears, select Yes.
- The installation will begin.
- Wait for a couple of minutes and you will finally see the on-screen message to get started.
Go to the Start menu and select Visio manually.
